We open the farm to people who measure, count, and work with living systems.
Biology, microbiology, hydrology, ecology, agronomy, forest dynamics, sociology, and crops. Not a campus: a working organic farm in Panama inviting fieldwork, data, and exchange — an island of coherence: a real place where practice holds and can be studied.

What this place is
A farm already at work. A lab we build together.
There are piles, mulch, living beds, water, and domesticated vegetables. Open questions: bocashi water retention, soil food web, niche partitioning, forest–crop edge. If your discipline needs that ground, write.

Rain, retention in organic layers, bocashi as sponge, irrigation and runoff on tropical slopes.
Agronomy · crops
Cassava, vegetables, plantain, niches. Yield, plant health, practice without pesticides.
Forest dynamics
Farm–forest edge, shade, birds, regeneration. The tropics are not a prairie.
Sociology
Labor, farmer knowledge, organization, visits, and how decisions are made on farm and in community. Fieldwork, not a desk survey.
Other sciences
Soil science, entomology, mycology, systems, field education. Name the question.
How to start
One page. One number. No theater.
1. Write
Who you are, institution or independent, research question, tentative dates.
2. We agree
Plot access, farm rules (no pesticides, no new waste), what data is shared.
3. Field
On-site work. Cabins are not bookable yet — we say that plainly. Panama City / Parque Lefevre is the contact base.
Later: cabins, field school, and table. Not reservable yet. On-farm research can be planned now.
